If you do need to buy certain items that tend to come with a high price, such as new furniture, consider looking secondhand via online marketplaces, garage sales, or thrift stores. Start Using the Library
Finally, you can reduce spending by using the library. New books and films–along with streaming services–are expensive, but you don’t need them when you have a local library. Many libraries now partner with library-based streaming services, so ask your local librarian if this is something you can sign up with using your library card.
Track What You Spend
